B4Bias is an independent project dedicated to examining how bias shapes technology, thinking, culture, and global decision-making. Grounded in critical analysis and real-world observation, the project explores how cognitive shortcuts, algorithmic systems, and cultural narratives quietly influence perceptions and outcomes every day.
Rather than relying on abstract theory, B4Bias focuses on how bias appears in practice, within human judgment, digital systems, institutions, and public discourse. Through this lens, the project works to reveal the mechanisms that often remain unnoticed yet have profound consequences on fairness, responsibility, and societal well-being.
Our work centres on four core domains: AI Bias, Cognitive Bias, Cultural & Media Bias, and practical Strategies for Fairness. Together, these pillars allow B4Bias to approach bias from multiple angles, connecting individual thinking with systemic effects.
B4Bias remains independent by design, enabling a transparent and critical perspective free from institutional influence. The goal is not simply to highlight where bias exists, but to support better thinking, more responsible design, and more informed decision-making, across individuals, organizations, and systems that shape everyday life.
